Earth Day: Eco-Chic Fashion

Today is Earth Day and if you haven’t already noticed, eco-chic is everywhere. From eco-beauty bars to eco-clubs and eco-restaurants, green is in!

LA Fashion Week Spring 2009

The eco-friendly fashion market has, until recently, been limited. Recycled and organic canvas-totes and plain Jane wear seemed to be the only “green” fashion options. However, with people becoming more environmentally conscious, sustainable, eco-friendly fashion is making its presence known in the mainstream. Organic cotton, bamboo & rice paper are a few of the environmentally friendly materials being used in clothing & accessories production.
