| SUSHISAMBA 7 | NYC Summer Restaurant Week
New York City’s semi-annual Restaurant Week is upon us. Throughout NYC, participating restaurants have created special menus offering prix fixe, 3-course meals for $24.07 (lunch) & $35 (dinner).
Yesterday afternoon, we headed out for a day in the City with a friend & our final stop was SUSHISAMBA 7 in the West Village. SUSHISAMBA is a Japanese-Latin fusion restaurant with multiple locations in NYC, other major U.S. cities & Tel Aviv. (Their NYC Restaurant Week menu options vary by location)
For the first course, we tried the Berkshire Pork Gyoza (dumplings) & Kobe Tataki which had slices of Kobe beef on a bed of tatsoi. For the main course, we had a bit of everything. Roasted Salmon with seasoned purple potatoes, Japanese Marinated Skirt Steak & an assortment of delicious sushi filled us up. Then there was dessert. We indulged in the refreshing tropical fruit flavored sorbets & Choco Duo a yummy layered dessert with chocolate custard & hazelnut croquant!
SUSHISAMBA is just one of many participating in restaurant week. Check the list of restaurants, peruse the menus, tell your friends & make your reservations. Summer Restaurant Week ends on July 31st. What are you waiting for?!
