Coachella Festival Style

The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival wrapped up on Sunday night. The annual, weekend long event, took place in the desert region of Indio, Californa. What’s unique about this festival is the range of genres represented. One minute, you’re enjoying a Jay-Z & Beyoncé “Forever Young” duet and right after, a rock band.

Coachella style is just as notable as the music itself. The free spirited environment is a host to a bevy of comfortable & chic fashion. Boho babes and rocker chicks coexist in the wonderful world of Coachella. Some of your favorite celebs were in attendance at Coachella 2010  — Beyoncé, Solange, Katy Perry & Dita Von Teese to name a few. They all brought Coachella appropriate style to the fields.

Beyoncé looked laid back in daisy dukes and a Wildfox Couture Je T’Aime Ice Cream tank and later took the stage in an …EDGY Thomas Wylde shirt to say the least. Solange, forever walking to the beat of her own drum, looked cute in a flirty mini skirt & American Apparel crop top. Katy Perry posed in a simple, ethnic print frock & a pair of comfy gladiator sandals. Dita Von teese took cues from the nautical trend and wore this sailor pant & tank top.

Although Coachella is over, these laid back looks can be worn to many other warm weather outings. Check out these Coachella inspired picks!
