On the Spring 2010 runways, fashion labels like Monique Lhuillier, Diane von Furstenberg and L.A.M.B. brought fierceness through wild-life inspired animal print. The animal print came in an assortment of styles –- muted cocktail dresses to brilliantly hued jackets. Some looks were subtle, while others screamed “Me Tarzan! You Jane!”
Animal print is one of those styles that can go from O So Chic! to O So Wrong! Luckily – well hopefully – the line between right and wrong is discernible. Animal print is a great way to inject a little sass into your wardrobe. If you go over the top, you may look like the décor in Olivia’s apartment, from the show Jerseylicious. If you’re unsure about rocking animal print, wearing a colorful or more abstract version of the print may assuage your fears.
From leopard spots to zebra stripes, get in touch with your wild side with these animal print picks!
