Spring Style & Trends | Tribal Prints

Prints, prints, prints, and more prints. That is the common theme among many of this Spring’s fashion trends. Tried and true polka dots and nautical stripes made their way down the catwalks, as did animal and floral prints. Another trend was tribal prints.

Designer labels such as Dries Van Noten, Diane von Furstenberg, Givenchy and Malandrino drew inspiration from the traditional garb of different ethnic groups for this trend. They took the tribal prints, infused them with color, and fashioned them into leggings, mini dresses, and maxi dresses for the runway.  Retailers are offering the prints as scarves, tank tops, tube dresses and more.
Here are a few styles to get you started on your quest for tribal wear.
