The annual surf board hand out, otherwise known as the Teen Choice Awards, aired on Fox last night and though I wasn’t blown away by most of the red carpet clothing, I did spot a couple of cool statement rings. I am currently looking for a replacement for the beautiful, big, sparkly, Marc by Marc Jacobs ring that I lost at AOL’s Blogger’s Night Out event last week. (I took it off to get my nails painted in the gorgeous Essie Chinchilly gray and completely forgot it at the manicure station.) I had some good times with that ring and I can only hope that it’s living on some fabulous girl’s finger now.
A statement ring is a quick and easy way to add flair to an outfit. Since I’m prone to losing things, I don’t want to spend a ton of money on a new ring. I’d hate to buy something expensive and forget it the next time I get a manicure, or take it off to wash my hands. I’ve picked out a few rings that might serve as a replacement for my beloved Marc ring, and they’re all under $100.
