The 2012 award season began with last night’s Golden Globe awards. Hollywood’s best and brightest kicked off the season in lots of blacks, nudes, figure hugging and fishtail gowns.

I loved that Julianne Moore invoked a pop of color to her black ensemble with dangly green earrings and Paula Patton’s yellow dress was a bright spot amongst the more subdued hues chosen by her counterparts.
Viola Davis in Emilio Pucci; Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang; Charlize Theron in Dior Couture
My pick for best dressed is a three-way tie between Viola Davis, Sofia Vergara and Charlize Theron. Davis and Theron showed off their glam gams in gowns with high slits and Vergara’s body screamed “I’m sexy and I know it” beneath the blue fabric. These three women have inspired me to get in the gym for 2012. They looked HOT!
Gasp! Where is Angelina??
Angelina looked great, no doubt about it, but I’m not sure I loved the neck of her gown. I do have body envy though. You could add her to the the list of people who inspired me to get in the gym.
