When I spotted this black lace dress at Armani Exchange (I live for their cocktail dresses), the sheer neck and A-line silhouette called to me from the window. It begged me to take it home with me and I couldn’t refuse.

My company’s annual benefit was coming up and even though I promised myself I wouldn’t buy anything to wear to it, the lace dress was perfect for the event. Plus, lace is one of spring’s trends. It was my duty to show it off at the banquet. And show it off I did! My job that night was to sell raffle tickets. I strutted around the banquet hall in my lace dress, 5-inch stilettos and a white basket with a balloon on it and solicited donations for our organization. The pictures of me carrying the basket will never see the light of day but I absolutely adore the black lace. Don’t you?
