Although I wear bright colors throughout the year, the warmer days and extra hours of sunlight inspire people to wear bold hues in the summer. Once I saw the Nanette Lepore Spring/Summer 2012 presentation, I knew neon would be my summer theme.

If you’re “afraid” of neon, try a neon watch, belt, or an article of neon clothing for a bright pop of color. If you love color, neon from head-to-toe can always be pulled off with the right pieces. With dresses, skirts, pants, tops and bags available in an array of neon colors like citron, green, yellow, orange and pink, you’ll definitely find pieces that work for your style and budget.
