Bright Side of Summer | Summer Fun in NYC

When summer ends in a few weeks, I can look back and say, “I definitely lived it up this summer. With “work hard, play harder” being the unintentional theme for my summer, the season has been nothing short of entertaining.

Restaurant exploration has been something I have been doing a lot of this summer. Puerto Rican cuisine, traditional Nigerian eats, Korean fusion food trucks–you name it, I’ve had it.

When I’m not checking out new restaurants, I’m traipsing around NYC. One of my favorite places to visit is South Street Seaport. The Seaport is such a great place to just chill out, woosah & take in the scenery. Plus, the waterfront has incredible views of NYC & the Brooklyn Bridge.

Enjoying the Great White Way is an eternal “hotspot” and always on the to do list. This summer, I had the chance to see The Trip to Bountiful, on Broadway.

Since it is summer, bright colors and bold prints are in heavy rotation. I’ve even completed a few DIY fashion projects, giving myself the opportunity to rock my own creations.

I’m sure the remaining weeks of summer will be just as fun, memorable & filled with color!
