It’s the first full weekend of June and that means we are two weeks away from summer! The forecast is looking great this weekend, so there’s no reason for you to stay cooped up in the house. The Governors Ball fest kicks off today, The Puerto Rican Day Parade is on Sunday and the Spring 2014 season of the NYC Ballet ends this weekend. What: The Governor’s Ball Music Festival 2014
When: Friday, June 6th – Sunday, June 8th
Where: Randall’s Island
Outkast, Janelle Monae, Damian “Junior Gong” Marley, J. Cole, Childish Gambino and TONS more will hit the Governors Ball stage this weekend in NYC. What: First Fridays at the Schomburg: Afro-Puerto Rican Pride
When: Friday, June 6th (6-9pm)
Where: The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture

What: DJ Brunch at The Cecil
When: Every Saturday (2-6pm)
Where: The Cecil Restaurant

Harlem – NYC
