The “spring” weather has been all over the place. However, once my friend’s wedding day forecast boasted 80° last week, all was well!
In the rush of figuring out what I was going to wear, prepping for rehearsals and helping coordinate last minute arrangements for the wedding, I didn’t think of what my wedding day beauty look would be until the MORNING of their nuptials.
Since it was a formal occasion, I decided to save my lioness curls for another day and opted for a sleek, sophisticated look. I wanted my face and dress to be the focal points for the day so having my hair swept to the side, with a side part, was the best option.
To start, I washed my hair with the Head & Shoulders shampoo. It has a light fragrance that isn’t overpowering but leaves an impression on anyone who gets a whiff of it. It left my hair feeling clean–yet soft. Since my hair is naturally dry, the moisturizing Head & Shoulders shampoo is a must in my hair care routine.
After rinsing out the shampoo, I realized I had enough time to enjoy a deep conditioning treatment. I grabbed the Head & Shoulders conditioner, applied a generous amount to my hair, combed it through and covered my mane with a shower cap. I lounged around for a bit (thank goodness for afternoon weddings!) and then rinsed out the conditioner.
After a quick meeting with my blow dryer and flat iron, my hair was ready for the wedding! The Head & Shoulders collection kept my hair looking polished and sleek–even in the heat and a dance marathon of a reception.
