In a city like New York, you will pay out of the wazoo for every square foot of real estate. So, when I found a quaint and affordable studio apartment, I jumped on it, all 267 sq feet! I love the space but I do wish I had a separate bedroom. I toyed with the idea of getting a pressured wall between my sleeping area and the couch but the $750 price tag stopped me in my tracks. To top it off, I couldn’t find a cute divider that matched my decor so I decided to make one for myself.

6 Spring Fitness Tips from Expert Kristin McGee

Happy Wellness Wednesday! (It’s not a national day or anything, but we’re talking about getting healthy today). Now that you’re armed with cheap-chic workout clothes, you actually have to start working out! My 30 day trial at the gym expired yesterday and I signed up for a full membership. I’m hoping the $95 I have to pay a month will be incentive for me to keep going.

If you don’t have the time or money to go to the gym, never fear! You don’t need an expensive gym membership to get in shape. I attended a Wellness Event a few weeks ago and jotted down a few simple fitness tips from Kristin McGee, yogi/Pilates instructor/contributing editor for Health magazine.

Weekend Style | Easter Sunday

Easter is generally the most crowded day of the year at church. It’s also the most fashionable. Many of church elders and sisters will be decked out in hats that could rival any one Princess Beatrice’s fascinators. I’m not big on hats, but I love a brightly colored dress. If you’re going to church this Easter, get there early, grab a seat, and celebrate the end of Lent and the Resurrection of Christ in your Sunday best.
