Fascinator Fascination at the Royal Wedding | Get the Look

I first encountered the fascinator headpiece at my British cousin’s destination wedding. The mother of the bride wore a dandelion-yellow fascinator and her British style and sensibilities were definitely a hit at the Caribbean wedding.

Today, at the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton (now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge), the fascinator fascination was in full effect. Philip Treacy fascinators crowned the heads of royalty, celebrities and socialites alike. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie wore extravagant Philip Treacy fascinators that perfectly matched their royal wedding ensembles. Victoria Beckham looked posh and chic in a more subdued Philip Treacy fascinator. Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, also wearing a Philip Treacy fascinator, chose a diamond-shaped, royal blue fascinator headpiece. Royal blue…royal wedding.

Fascinators exist in an array of styles. There are floral fascinators, mesh fascinators, feather fascinators, etc. You don’t have to be a guest of a royal wedding to get your hands on a fascinator. Indulge in the fascinator fascination with these chic fascinator headpieces below. They are definitely conversation pieces!
